Edu Moves — Privacy Policy

Edu Moves (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a campus events app published by Celestial Software LLC. Students post “Moves” — parties and events at their school — and others browse, RSVP, and follow hosts. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
Account information
You can create an account with Sign in with Apple or an email address and password, or browse as a guest (an anonymous session with no personal information). Account holders choose a username, a school, and a group type (Independent, Greek Life, or Student Club). We store this profile, your follower/following lists, your RSVPs, and the moves you post — including any cover photos and profile photos you upload — in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage). Content you share
Moves you post (title, time, address, description, contact info, photos) are visible to other users according to the audience you choose: your whole school, your followers, or an invite list. If you mark an address private, it is revealed only to people who RSVP. Public move addresses may be converted to map coordinates on your device (using Apple's geocoding service) so moves can appear on the map view.
Community safety
Every move and profile can be reported or blocked in the app. Reports go to our moderation team and are reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks our rules is removed and repeat offenders lose their accounts. Move text is also screened automatically at posting time.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a device push token to send you relevant alerts (new followers, RSVPs to your moves, reminders for moves you're attending). You can turn notifications off any time in Settings.
Advertising
The app is free and supported by ads, delivered through Appodeal (https://www.appodeal.com/privacy-policy/) and its mediated ad networks (including Google AdMob, AppLovin, and others). To show ads and measure their performance, these partners may access your device's advertising identifier and limited device/usage information, and may use it to personalize ads and for advertising analytics.
On iOS, we ask for your permission before tracking (Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt). You can change your choice any time in your device's Settings → Privacy. Partner privacy details: Google/AdMob (https://policies.google.com/privacy), AppLovin (https://www.applovin.com/privacy/).
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases (such as boosting a move) are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; we receive only a signed confirmation of the purchase from Apple.
Children
Edu Moves is intended for college students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Data retention and deletion
Moves are automatically deleted from our systems shortly after they end. You can delete your entire account in the app (Profile → Settings → Close account), which removes your profile, moves, photos, RSVPs, and follows from our servers.
