Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This privacy notice for Celestial Software LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share (“process”) your information when you use our services (“Services”), such as when you download and use our mobile applications (including Jask: Polls and Questions) or any other application of ours that links to this privacy notice, or engage with us in other related ways including any sales, marketing, or events. Questions or concerns? If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you have questions, contact us at celestialsoftwarellc@gmail.com.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. The personal information we collect may include:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Usernames
  • Contact or authentication data

We do not process sensitive personal information. If you use our application(s), we may also collect mobile device data (device ID, model, manufacturer, operating system, IP address) and, with your permission, push-notification preferences. Some information — such as your IP address and browser/device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services, primarily to maintain security and operation and for internal analytics.

2. How do we process your information?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent — for example, to facilitate account creation and authentication, to send marketing and promotional communications (which you can opt out of at any time), to deliver targeted advertising, and to protect our Services.

3. What legal bases do we rely on?

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so. If you are located in the EU or UK, we may rely on consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or vital interests. If you are located in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent, or where permitted by applicable law.

4. When and with whom do we share your information?

We may share information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us and require access to do that work. Categories of third parties may include:

  • Ad networks
  • Cloud computing services
  • Data analytics services
  • Data storage service providers
  • User account registration & authentication services

We may also share information in connection with a business transfer (merger, sale, or acquisition) or with affiliates who are required to honor this privacy notice.

5. Our stance on third-party websites

The Services may link to third-party websites, online services, or mobile applications and may contain advertisements from third parties not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for the safety of information you share with third parties, and their data practices are not covered by this notice. We encourage you to review their policies.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to gather information, maintain security, save preferences, and assist with basic functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use tracking technologies for analytics and advertising. We may share information with Google Analytics; you can opt out at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

7. How do we handle your social logins?

If you choose to register or log in using a third-party social media account, we may receive certain profile information (such as your name, email address, and profile picture). We use it only for the purposes described in this notice and recommend reviewing your provider’s privacy notice.

8. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When we no longer have a legitimate business need, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.

9. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures. However, no electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our security. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

10. Do we collect information from minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or are the parent/guardian of a minor and consent to their use. If we learn that information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and delete such data. To report this, contact us at celestialsoftwarellc@gmail.com.

11. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your location (including the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, and certain US states), you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

12. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most browsers and some mobile systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature. As no uniform technology standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.

13. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete the personal information we maintain, and to opt out of certain processing. • Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, IP address, account name) — collected.
  • California Customer Records information (e.g., name, contact information) — collected.
  • All other statutory categories (protected classifications, commercial information, biometrics, precise geolocation, sensory data, professional/education information, and inferences) — not collected.
